Kenes Rakishev Invests in Cloud-Based Security System

Physical security systems were once a chaotic proposition with a mess of wires and control panels that were proprietary with little connectivity to other systems. The introduction of open industry standard protocols allowed significant reduction in the cost of robust security systems, but the setup of these security systems remained a challenge for most consumers. A new cloud-based security system, by Octopus – a joint venture by Israeli IT and security gurus at Tel Aviv’s Singulariteam, a Swiss-Israeli joint venture led by Kenes Rakishev, Chinese internet giants Tencent and Renren are here to back the promising Octopus security system initiative which curates everything from the setup and operation of the system for consumers.
